Simpson Barracks is an Australian Army facility in the suburb of Yallambie in Melbourne.

The scope of this project included an electrical/security system upgrade for the Military Police Detention Centre as well as installation of an on-site back-up generator to support the ORs Mess.
The security system upgrade component included the installation and commissioning of an electrical access control system and a CCTV system with a complete security lock replacement. Also included was an upgrade of the LED lighting and the installation of an independently running lighting control system.
The generator installation component of the project included civil excavation and concrete slab works. The 350kVA diesel generator has an automatic start, which will support operations in A0020 ORs Mess during a power outage.
