Duratec was engaged by the Nishi Building’s owners’ corporation – via its Strata Manager company, LMM Solutions – as managing contractor to investigate, and design a new roof which was installed over the existing roof.
Works included relocation of existing services and installation of new skylights. The proposed solution ensured a conditioned space was created within the old and new roof. Throughout the design stage, Duratec held multiple meetings with the Executive Committee members to present progress of works. As part of the project, Duratec was responsible for coordination of all services disconnection with commercial and residential users of the building.
