Duratec was engaged to carry out a visual inspection at the request of the managing agent to areas of concern on the north/west facade of International House.

Photographs showed that there appeared to be cracked concrete sections, spalling and bulging render and in danger of dislodging.
The project involved carrying out a safety breakout and providing a written technical report on the findings. The job was accessed by rope access.
Highlights
- Footpath permits were obtained and spotters where utilised on the street level.
- IRATA level 3 rope access technicians were engaged as part of the three man rope access team.
- The safety breakout was undertaken with techniques ensuring no rubble was allowed to fall during the works.
