Glenelg WWTP houses 7 primary sedimentation tanks. Duratec was engaged to carry out the remediation of these tanks both internally and externally.

Working with a strict budget Duratec offered bespoke solutions throughout the project in order to offer best value to the asset owner, SA Water.
Duratec carried out the works from initial technical survey through design workshops, written methodology and delivery.
The works included the removal of defective concrete by both hydro-demolition and mechanical means. This was followed by reinstatement using several methods such as dry spraying, hand patching and shutter / pour.
In addition to the remediation of the structure Duratec protected the asset from further attack through the application of high performance epoxy and cementitious based coatings.
