Duratec was engaged by Boskalis Australia to complete
concrete and coating repair works to the East Arm Marine Supply Base.
Details
Built on 8.5 hectares adjacent to East Arm Wharf, the base provides space for rig tenders to load
supplies to service the growing needs of the offshore oil and gas rigs in the Timor Sea and Browse Basin.
The scope of works entailed concrete repairs to the capping beam, graded inlet pits, CP pits and light pole bases, coating repairs to mooring bollards, light pole bollards, access ladders, life buoys and fender frames.
The works were completed in order to secure the current condition of the East Arm Marine Supply Base and to avoid additional breakdown and degradation.
