The Moorebank Defence Area is located approximately 30 km south-west of Sydney, on the eastern bank of the Georges River.

The scope of works included the replacement of vitrified clay pipe sewer mains with UPVC pipes and upgrade/replacement of service pits.
All services remained connected and operational during the project works. Diversion pumps were used to maintain services during staged excavation.
The existing sewer main design was incomplete, site survey and CCTV investigation costs were more than offset by information gained prior to commencement of works.
Relining of pipes reduced disruption to key road crossings and a valuable alternative to replacement of mains under buildings and covered walkways
