Duratec is conscious of its responsibility to respect, protect and enhance the environment to benefit future generations. With this commitment to sustainability front of mind, members of Duratec’s Victorian team recently took part in an ecologiQ site tour as part of the Greener Infrastructure Conference.
EcologiQ is a State Government initiative committed to integrating recycled content across transport infrastructure and making use of greener materials.
The team visited manufacturing facilities, research facilities and laboratories to gain an insight into how products are being diverted from landfill and incorporated into infrastructure projects. The tour was also an opportunity to connect with organisations providing environmentally friendly offerings.
