On Friday 28 April and Friday 12 May, 30 members of NAWIC’s (National Association of Women in Construction) Perth chapter were given an exclusive tour of Duratec’s Central Park facade refurbishment project in Perth’s CBD.
The tour enabled visitors to gain a good understanding of the project, which is gradually transforming the Perth city skyline.
The works at Central Park are intricate and have many moving parts. The team has had to work around a live, operational environment, taking great care not to disrupt building occupants and everyday operations.
The tour took the visitors all the way to the top of the building, where they were able to admire the extraordinary view. After taking the opportunity to ask questions, the guests descended to the bottom of the building where they mingled and enjoyed a bite to eat.
The team at Central Park were wonderful hosts as they shared their knowledge of this incredible project.
