To help the Department of Defence to preserve them for future generations, we performed heritage conservation works to three buildings on the HMAS Creswell College base.
The project works included:
- Repurpose of the Gymnasium and Clock Tower building
- Demolition of the existing Staff Training building and turnkey design and construct of a new building
- Refurbishment of the College Galley dining hall external cladding including lead paint removal and the replacement of aged services to ensure compliance is met with BCA, MFPE and Smart Infrastructure checklists
- Demolition of existing College Galley building and construction of a new commercial kitchen
We’re delighted to have successfully performed heritage conservation works to all of the buildings whilst honouring heritage values throughout all stages of construction and keeping disruption to a minimum during the college’s busiest time.
