In addition to his role as Managing Director of Duratec’s wholly owned subsidiary WPF, Nigel Kroonstuiver has been appointed National Energy Manager. He will spearhead the ongoing expansion of Duratec, and its supporting entities, into the energy sector.
Nigel has been with Duratec since the company’s inception in 2010 and during that time, he has gained experience in not only energy but also mining, marine and various other industries. His impressive leadership skills and vast knowledge of engineering, construction and remediation has seen him deliver exceptional project outcomes for clients time and again.
Nigel is looking forward to being a key part of Duratec’s contribution to Australia’s transition from old to new energy. This will include the decommissioning of offshore oil and gas operations
as we move towards net zero emissions by 2050.
