Duratec was contracted by Jundee Gold Operations to
perform concrete repair works to their crusher foundations.
Details
Approximately 20m2 of degraded concrete was removed by hydro-demolition before being reinstated with shotcrete. XP anodes were also installed to the steel reinforcing mesh to extend the life of the repair.
Highlights
- Works were completed ahead of schedule, on budget and with no accidents or incidents to the client’s satisfaction.
- The scope of work was increased due to the depth of the repair.
- Day and night shifts were required to complete the works on time.
